Very understandable. I guess I prayed for their souls but even moreso prayed that they would face earthly justice so that both they and anybody who would try to be like them would see that justice is not a joke. That was what I thought it would take for them to even be open to having their souls saved. My interest was probably more selfish, though - so that the whole culture that has called everything by its exact opposite - wrong is right; black is white; up is down - would see the lies for what they are, and so that the nation as a whole could unite under repentance. Great, if those crooks came to repentance and were saved. But I wanted a bigger outcome than that. I wanted justice to be a thing, so that people would realize the need for repentance and salvation. Right now they have no reason to believe that they WON’T “get away with” whatever heinous things they want to do. But they need to be shown that justice is still real.

For Patel, Bongino, and Bondi I pray with the same thought. I pray that they will do as God moves them, because He is the master chess player and can even get a donkey to speak the truth out loud. He can get the rocks to cry out if people are too dumb and dull to recognize His Kingship. My prayer is that they would have the strength to do what God directs them to do, without fear of what man can do to them and without becoming slaves to the Ring of Power.

I don’t know why they are lying. I suspect that it is part of a bigger strategy, but I’ve been told I have an overly optimistic viewpoint. Fair enough, but I do still suspect that. Somebody commented on the investigation into Brennan and Comey and noted that though the statute of limitations is over for perjury or other piddly offenses, it is never over for treason - which is exactly what I want Trump’s team to go after: the taking over of the legitimate US government by a team of belligerents through the use of extortion. They could be going after conspiracy charges, where the statute of limitations starts over with each new activity of the conspiracy. That would be OK with me too. The idea is that they aren’t necessarily going after piddly charges for this or that person (or even for each person extorted by Epstein) but going after the whole stinking cesspool of corrupt conspiracy.

If they’re just screwing us, then I’m with you.

Until I know for sure I’m going to keep praying and hoping. And I hope that even if you think they’re just screwing us, you might pray for God to use them anyway, just in case. =)
