Y’all got to wonder why?
A man spends his whole day
trying to feed himself and his family,
And then spends his “Spare” time digging up rocks and aligning them with stars?
Ancient men were just a smart as we are. They may not have the depth of knowledge we are accustomed to, but they weren’t stupid.
I’ll pick on stone hedge. Why spend al that effort and for what purpose?
Y’all didn’t even leave a clue as to why you did it!
Just tells me my ancestors ate better and had more free time on their hands than modern Liberal run schools will admit to.

[[Why spend al that effort and for what purpose?]]

For seriously deluded “religious reasons”- they likely worshipped the stars, and ordered thei4 lives around the stars

Rellic, do read Jared Diamonds Guns, Germs and Steel.

Basically, a study was done on the amount of time spent per day by KhoiSan hunter gatherers. These live in the Botswana desert so not easy to find food. But even then they worked only a couple of hours a day.

So hunter gatherers who lived in climates like 3000 BC Eurasia would find food pretty easily. So they would have a lot of free time
