Barbra Streisand Says Texas Flood Tragedy Proves We Must ‘Redouble Our Efforts to Slow Climate Change’
Breitbart ^ | 7/9/25 | Simon Kent

Posted on 07/09/2025 5:51:35 AM PDT by DallasBiff

Actress/singer turned self-regarding atmospheric science expert, Barbra Streisand, has had enough. She’s watched in horror along with the rest of the world as flash floods and tornados have left a deadly trail of carnage across America and she wants climate action to end it

Right now, if not sooner.

Streisand took to social media outlet Bluesky to list her demands for action while pointing a finger at the administration of President Donald Trump, saying:

The horror of these killer tornados and flash floods killing Americans should redouble our efforts to slow climate change and increase the National Weather Service enhanced warning systems. Instead this Administration is heading us in the opposite direction.

This is not the first time Streisand has turned climate worrier and conflated the weather with the actions of Trump.

As Breitbart News reported, in 2019 she declared Trump should be the first “climate denier” removed from office

Then we need to take her Malibu home, put her into a small apartment, and keep her from using so much carbon.

But Texas had the audacity to vote for Trump. And I recall when Obama was president, during some terrible brush fires in Texas, Obama criticized Texas for having a governor who denied global warming.

So there are reasons why the liberals will not accord credit to Texas, for all their solar and wind power.

Isn’t she the singer with a huge nose? Is her sense of smell forecasting change? I disagree with her and my nose is bigger.

Just more BS from BS.

Reminds me of that mid-70’s song by Billy Preston,

BS from BS leaves BS….

LOL. I almost posted a thread taking bets on which celebrity would crow ‘climate change’ first after news of the tragedy broke.

She's sick for making this about climate change. Flooding on the Guadalupe River is not unusual.

The area is even known as part of “Flash Flood Alley,” one of the most flood-prone regions in North America.

If the climate was changing this would happen 24/7/365 but one rain storm doesn’t mean the climate is changing . Didn’t they say they seeded the clouds just before this storm so they caused it the Seeder

Rivers flow through gullies...Never camp on the edge of a gully...especially one that has a history of flooding.

This is soooo sad...

On the Susquhanna River...

https://www.susquehannafloodforecasting.org/flood-history.html

Per the above...

“...The main stem of the Susquehanna has flooded 14 times since 1810 – about every 15 years, on average. Even the Native Americans who once lived in the area told of frequent floods...”

Wow, that’s a lot of global warming, Babs...

SNORT.

**She can sing well**

Thousands upon thousands of people can sing well. But if we make gods and goddesses out of them all then none of them will be rich and famous, and neither will the thousands of people that make a living off of promoting ordinary people that happen to be able to sing and act.

We sure don’t need them as they can’t control climate anyway.
If any person could control climate, it would be so screwed up as no two persons would want the same thing.

” I have t wonder what the hell was going on 100 years ago?”

These people have massive egos. It’s all about them. They are so important and consequential that all things must be related to them or their actions. As for a hundred years ago, they need a scale from which to measure how consequential they are. But they are not sufficiently self-aware to ask what happened a hundred years ago. Because, if they were more self-aware, they wouldn’t be thinking about climate change. It is now and always has been changing.
