Reading this the animals could not believe how many times the man could say the same thing. No matter how many times they read it, the same thing was said. They learned that the writer was repetitious and kept saying the same stuff. For a while they thought he might say something different but no he kept repeating one thought, over and over.

How to get a point across to an audience who might not be the brightest:

• Tell them what you're going to tell them.
• Tell them.
• Tell them again (repeat as many times as needed)
• Tell them what you told them.

Believe it or not that was given as a lecture on how to present difficult information to a dense audience.
