I like hot dogs very much, but I don’t eat one every day. I didn’t even do that when I lived in NYC where they are readily available from street carts!
When I was a young married man struggling to pay bills and raise a family, I ate a hot dog with Ramen Noodles every day for lunch for years..............Of course I had a quad By-pass in 2020, but that had nothing to do with the hot dogs, I’m sure...... š
In a related study, researchers found that those who consumes Schickhaus hot dogs tended to live 3.6 years longer than the consumers of other brands.
Same here. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes back in 1998. I've managed to control my blood sugar with diet and oral meds. I'm 78 and have outlived the rest of my family, so I won't worry about having a hot dog every now and then. When he was 48, my youngest son was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. He's been cancer free for six years now. He never ate hotdogs, and doesn't have diabetes, and hopefully he never will.
