U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday said the Jeffrey Epstein client list is "sitting on my desk right now"

Attorney General Pam Bondi’s early March interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, in which she claimed she uncovered a “truckload” of evidence related to Jeffrey Epstein, took on new meaning this weekend after the DOJ and FBI publicly concluded the so-called “Epstein Files” do not exist.

Axios exclusively reported on the DOJ and FBI’s findings on Sunday night, calling it the “first time Trump’s administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories” that convicted sex offender Epstein was killed in order to keep secret his list of ultra-powerful clients, who many believe he later blackmailed for personal gain.

Hannity confronted Bondi in the March 3rd interview, saying that many in Trump’s base expected more information to be made public, a major campaign promise from the president.

“We all did! And the FBI handed over a couple hundred pages of documents. But you know, Sean, I gave them a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything, and a source had told me where the documents were being kept. Southern District of New York, shock,” Bondi said, suggesting a cover-up was the reason she had been unable to fully disclose the “Epstein Files” up until that point.

“So we got them all by — hopefully all of them — Friday at eight a.m., thousands of pages of documents. I have the FBI going through them and Kash [Patel] is also, now that we have Kash here, it’s a game changer of course, and Kash, Director Patel, is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents,” Bondi claimed.

“Okay, I want to be clear because I think people got frustrated because they were expecting more. You were expecting more and you didn’t find out less than 24 hours before the release you got a whistleblower that confirmed that there were way more documents that they were supposed to turn over and then you found out just before that,” Hannity followed up.

“Well, sure. And we were looking at these documents going, these aren’t all the ‘Epstein Files.’ You know, they’re flight logs. They were names and victims’ names. And we’re going, where’s the rest of the stuff?” Bondi replied, referring to information the DOJ had previously released.

“And that’s what the FBI had turned over to us. And so a source said, ‘Whoa, all this evidence is sitting in the Southern District of New York.’ So based on that, I gave them the deadline Friday at eight. A truckload of evidence arrived. It’s now in the possession of the FBI. Kash is going to get me and himself, really, a detailed report as to why all these documents and evidence had been withheld. And you know, we’re going to go through it, go through as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein, because there are a lot of victims,” she added.

“Well, you had identified in phase one over 254. Now, is that the only thing that would be redacted? Will everything else be made public that you get in your possession?” Hannity asked.

“Yeah, the FBI hasn’t had– obviously they haven’t looked at the thousands of pages of documents that they’ve just received Friday. Kash has a team going through them, and it’s always about protecting the victim. But you know what, we believe in transparency, and America has the right to know. The Biden administration sat on these documents. No one did anything with them. And why were they sitting in the Southern District of New York? I want a full report on that. Sadly, these people don’t believe in transparency. But I think more, unfortunately, I think a lot of them don’t live in honesty. And it’s a new day. It’s a new administration. And everything’s going to come out to the public. The public has a right to know. Americans have a right to know,” Bondi insisted.

The memo released by Bondi’s Justice Department and Patel’s FBI said, “This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list.’ There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

Many of the MAGA faithful immediately cried foul and accused the Trump administration of yet another cover-up, including Elon Musk.

Below are some reactions from the MAGA base, citing Bondi’s interview with Hannity:

🚨BETRAYAL🚨 Bondi said back in February that the Epstein Client List was sitting on her desk. And that it was a TRUCKLOAD of documents!

Now the DOJ and FBI claim the list never existed and that Epstein never blackmailed anyone.

🚨MARCH: Pam Bondi says a “TRUCKLOAD” of Epstein files just arrived. Thousands of pages. FBI reviewing them.

🚨JULY: DOJ says there’s NO client list. Suicide. Case closed.

FLASHBACK: In March, Pam Bondi said there was a truckload of Jeffrey Epstein files and the FBI Kash Patel were reviewing.

Now, the DOJ says there’s NO client list and the case is all but closed. The American people deserve answers, not a Axios report. pic.twitter.com/gkMqedDIcP

This is a major security breach—look at her eyes and body language.

AG Pam Bondi is compromised, and the US justice system is hijacked.

She hyped a "truckload" of Epstein files with a client list but now the DOJ and FBI deny any credible evidence.

Notice the quote is always “sitting on my desk right now” and not “the client list is sitting on my desk right now”. She never said she had the client list. If you watch the original interview, she says she got the full file, it was on her desk, and she hadn’t looked at it yet. Media went crazy with the story.

100% correct. Sloppy reporting/headline drafting by the media, but also sloppy reading and a lot of conclusion-leaping by those reading it.

Too often, people here what they want to hear, and that's the prime fuel for the engine of outrage. And when you try to get specific and look at what was actually said, the response is usually insults from the outraged.

It sounds like the “client list” and the flight logs are the same thing.

I think (I’ve seen a few others with similar opinions) that Bondi and Patel have been threatened in some way.
I also think that the names on that list are from both sides of the aisle.

These aren't the "clients" you're looking for.

Who did Ghislaine Maxwell traffic the women to? Because at this point, the ONLY conclusion that we can come to is that she trafficked to no one and is falsely imprisoned.

I’ve wondered if Epstein even kept any list. Or any tapes that could be used as evidence. He was smart enough to know the risks of doing that. You don’t just blackmail powerful and wealthy people without consequences. Blackmailing people like Bill and Hillary Clinton ? The person doing the blackmailing could wind up in far more trouble than those he was trying to blackmail. I’ll bet a lot, if not all of those documents were worthless as far as evidence.

“Who did Ghislaine Maxwell traffic the women to? Because at this point, the ONLY conclusion that we can come to is that she trafficked to no one and is falsely imprisoned.”

You can ‘conclude’ whatever you wish. She’s convicted until she beats the conviction on appeal. I don’t know if she has appealed and don’t care.

I think the American public just wants the TRUTH on the subject. Look how long we waited on the JFK shooting & do we finally have everything on that case? I can’t say. I expect to no longer be living when everything comes out on the Epstein case. This seems to be an effort for protection of certain “high-placed” people, tho it may be said to be otherwise. While I am not involved in any way, it would be nice to know the truth. Main reason for that would be so we the public might be able to ascertain the truth in other matters.

I agree 100% Which means they don't belong in public service.

She’s FALSELY convicted until she beats the conviction on appeal. She trafficked to no one, therefore, there is no crime. She is falsely imprisoned. This, of course, is consistent with Pam Blondie’s own recent statements regarding Epstein clients.

Even long after, it is a violation of policy to release ANY names of victims who were under-age at the time.

But that shouldn’t get in the way of releasing the files, with simply names/identifying info redacted.

The corruption certainly appears to run right through the very people “we” thought were not involved.
