it is also known as “weather”....
The climate fanatics will carry on, escalating into ever higher levels of extremity. However, I believe they may have reached their high-water mark as to policy influence. The laws of economics and physics both weigh heavily against them, and the consequences of ignoring those laws are becoming very costly.

Absolutely agree. We washed clothes this morning in our EPA restricted automatic washer, after manually adding, as usual, 5 gallons of water with a bucket.

I’m thinking “climate change” is a post British empire / EU psyop.
You are a declining colonial and global power. You are trying to remain relevant in the world. Other large countries have surpassed you in all regards, particularly nearby Russia, who you have been trying to control for over 3 centuries. There is also the United States, which is an ally, but can not be allowed to go their own path.
Energy is the base of the economy, but you do not own any energy yourself
What to do? Bring everyone down to your level.
Create a global political paranoia about the creation of energy. Limit its production, sale, and use. Hobble all energy (particularly oil/gas/coal) producers you do not control. Do it through globalist institutions and organizations you control, thus also strengthening the oversight of your institutions.
Carbon taxes and net-zero will also create a new form of counterfeit, fiat currency, based on others’ energy, which your banks can control the trading of
