The Woman Who Helped Launch AOC Now Sounds The Alarm On Mamdani Socialism

A former AOC superfan just pulled the fire alarm on New York’s next little socialist experiment. Her name is Lucy Biggers, and she’s sounding the kind of alarm that only comes from painful experiences. You know, the kind that hits after you’ve paid taxes, bought a home and realized socialism works great until the bill shows up.

“If I was 25, I would’ve been obsessed with Zohran,” she says in a video she posted on X. That’s Zohran Mamdani, the newest darling of the Democratic socialist crowd after his recent primary win.

But Lucy’s not 25 anymore. She’s 35. She’s got two kids and a mortgage. And reality has a way of making the glow of Marxist fairy tales fade fast. “Now I’m 35, and I’ve grown up. The feel-good promises of free college, free food, free housing might sound great, but they don’t work.”

According to Biggers, when you raise taxes to fund all those giveaways, rich people do what rich people always do. They pack up and leave. And when they do, guess who’s stuck holding the bag?

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.. These policies don’t make cities fairer, they make them poorer. The people who are supposed to foot the bill leave, and the rest of us are stuck with higher taxes, more regulations, and less to show for it.”

Why do people like this insist on learning the hard way? I was 13 when I realized I was conservative, that Carter was a moron, Reagan was amazing and this woman at 25 couldn't figure out AOC is a dingbat?

Not to belabor a joke but these people are the living embodiment of my tagline.

They really are THAT dumb.

Japan learned the hard way.

This woman is 35-a good time to learn.

“If I was 25, I would’ve been obsessed with Zohran,” she says in a video she posted”

If she were 25 and educated she would write “if I were”

But she’s not, and she wasn’t

In 1968 my then 55 y/o aunt took us on the metro north into Grand Central to spend the day in The City

She cried looking at the dilapidated state of the stairwell. She said they used to keep the brass rails shined. The stone steps polished

The kids here have been to china. They say the subways are beautiful.

The Chinese style of life threatening communism will not work in NYC. They keep trying

It’s been a long time since NYC functioned well

Giuliani and Kerik had it. Mayor Koch had it

This is going to be bad. Educational? I don’t count on it.

Funny how it’s always the *next* guy who takes it too far.

Americans used to be grown up at 25.

If a woman was over 25 and not married she would be called a “Spinster” or an “Old Maid”.

Too many on the Left think exactly that same way. They go for the flash and for the charisma. Substance matters not. Remember how Bill Clinton won praise for playing the saxophone on late night TV?

He should have been laughed at from one end of the country to the other.

"... The Alarm On Mamdani Socialism"

Yawn...
Another example of the slick "communist" propaganda meme to brand communists as a lesser evil by referring to them as "socialists"...

This raghead is NOT a socialist, he is a communist...
Marxist flavors are all a danger to societal freedoms & liberties...

Socialists are like a hand-grenade on the danger scale...
Communists and Fascists are like an atom bomb on the danger scale...

It started with JFK and television.

If you sent your daughter away for her BA and she didn’t come back with her MRS, you were really worried!

Same here. We all deal with the consequences of this idiocy, pushed as Gospel by the educational system. We’d be ok if a sizable group grew up like this woman did, albeit quite belatedly, but too many find the warm bath of imbecility to comfortable to leave

Several thoughts come to mind.

Be careful what you wish for; you may get it.

Madmandani is just the natural progression of the democRAT and DemoKKKrat policies.

I once had a professor who, while fairly liberal, taught very well. One day, while at her bank, she spent 20 minutes face down on the floor of the bank as thugs robbed it. That very day she became a STRONG supporter of the death penalty.

I grew up poor and joined the Army at 17.

You were the precocious ones, slipping in under 18; but what we expected and knew 18yos could do seems so far away now.
