Rap IMO, is a godless violent cult, and what does "rest in power" supposed to mean?

Way way way down on my list of people I care about are Rappers...
Besides that, suicide is horrible and this man must of been in a seriously bad place.

Rap is poetry with a beat behind it. Because there is no melody it does not actually fall into the category of music in my opinion but other people have a different view point. They are wrong. :)
If it is good poetry it is quite pleasant. Older "spoken songs" as they used to be known are "Big John" by Jimmy Dean, "Cow Patty" by Jim Stafford or "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash. Yes, most of the first "rap" was country music. The irony.
The "Gangster Rap" "Drill Rap" or Mumble Rap" is a degenerate form of the art.
