Trump has a Treasury Secretary to handle Fort Knox. Bessent has assured Trump Fort Knox is good to go, and he will oversee an annual audit this September. I suspect Trump will visit at the conclusion of that audit. If he doesn’t trust his hand-picked Treasury Secretary, he should go ahead and fire him now.
