You’ve gotta admit that the cheap, crappy Chinese drones the Ukes have been using deliver an awful lot of bang for the buck (pardon the pun). And the US military is carefully studying how to deploy them and how to counter them. They may be cheap, but a few dozen launched from near a military airfield can take out a few $50-$100 million jets for a few thousand bucks.
This is going to change the way we look at weapons systems if for no other reason than they can combine very effective platoon level ISR with a limited but effective precision strike capability.
However, the reason these systems were pressed into service in Ukraine was because more effective systems were in short supply.
What they do very well is provide lower cost solution to effectively engage lower value , thin skinned targets. Instead of using an expensive Javelin to take out a humvee and drone is very effective .
And drones are getting really good at ambush style attacks .
I just get a little irritated at how Zelensky is over selling the Ukrainian drone capability, especially since the really good stuff is often based on US tech transfers.

Yeah, you got to admit Trump is a generous and forgiving man, luckily for you. He has forgiven Zelensky for coming to our country and interfering in our election. Trump has forgiven him for insulting him and JD Vance and campaigning for Kamala Harris. Trump has forgiven him for campaigning for Bob Casey in the PA Senate race. He has forgven Zelensky for his rudeness and again insulting him and JD Vance in the White House meeting.

Zelensky insulted the people of this country. His behavior was reprehensible and unforgivable IMO, most particularly with regards to his interference in our election.

That was a vile thing to do to the American people. Notice the Ukes here are totally silent when this is discussed. They claim to be patriotic Americans but they’re so hot to save Ukraine that Zelensky helping to throw us under the Democrat bus didn’t bother them.
