Everyone is watching because of CC. And they’re trying to beat her up. Right now, CC is not playing due to her injuries.
Just like baseball, keep watering down the sport with more and more and more worthless, inferior players.
The same stupid people who invest in vanity project newspapers are now investing in vanity project WNBA teams. Once the cash starts flowing, the players are going to scream for an outsized share of it and cry racism when they don't get it.

WNBA will never make money. They are subsidized by the NBA.
The WNBA is the virtue signaling, money laundering arm of the NBA. Clark blew it wide open by mistakenly believing that the purpose of the WNBA was to promote well played women’s basketball.

She is a rebound leader because she misses most of her layups and gets her own rebounds. She has a 2” vertical leap, she gets away with traveling, and it is not even questionable, but miraculously missed by the refs.
The league is just a total $hite show, and is a microcosm of leftist political policies.
As long as there are bigger, stronger,faster players few will watch the wNBA.
What would help women’s basketball would be a four quarter game with mixed teams. Each city has a mens team and a female team. But not mixed on the court.
The men vs men only in quarters 1 and 4. And the women vs women only in quarters 2 and 3.. No trans involved . Final score would be composite of both men’s and women scores.
Details could be worked out later. Things could dicey if there are romances going on with players on different teams who just happen to be playing against each other. Be more inclusive than current setup.

If they can make Olympic sports out of curling, synchronized swimming, half pipe snowboarding, rhythmic gymnastics with idiotic twirling paper ribbons,would this idea be any stranger?

Very few people have watched what happened during the five seconds BEFORE Reese and Clark had their dust up.
One of Clark's team mates - I think the center - has perfect position for a defensive rebound off the board.
Reese approaches the center from behind and shoves her so hard she almost falls down, ending up out of bounds and BEHIND the basket.
A ref is standing 10-15 feet away, staring right at the flagrant foul, and does not make the call.
Clark instantly looks at the ref and points at the center who got shoved.
The ref still does nothing.
Meanwhile, after her flagrant foul, Reese steals the rebound and starts dribbling for the lay up.
Clark aggressively rips the ball away from Reese. Reese starts throwing punches. Clark walks away. The ref calls a foul on Clark.
Incomprehensible. Deliberate cheating, and 90% of the people who watched the tape think Clark fouled Reese.
They need men’s league to gift more money. Maybe they should earn it from them?
The fix is in, just like with everything else in life with them, never had to survive on their own merits, everything handed to them.
