When I was in the Marines, 1970’s, we had a cookout one day and everyone could grill their own steaks on the big BBQ grills they had.
One sergeant from my company selected his steak, took it to the grill, slapped it down on the grate and it sizzled for about 10 seconds, he then flipped it over and did the same thing, then he put it on his plate and went and ate it!..............
Wow! That’s pretty darn rare. Why even bother with the grill? To seal the juices in?
