Trump Threatens to Deport Elon Musk by Using DOGE: ‘DOGE Is the Monster’ That Might ‘Eat Elon!’
mediaite ^ | July 1 | Joe DePaolo

President Donald Trump indicated Tuesday morning that he is open to deporting Elon Musk — amid his renewed battle with the Tesla boss.

Speaking with reporters ahead of a flight to Florida on Tuesday, the president was asked about whether he would consider deporting the South African mogul.

“We’ll have to take a look,” Trump said. “We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon! Wouldn’t that be terrible?”

After a brief detente between the president and his former DOGE lieutenant, the war of words has ratcheted up again over the past 24 hours — with Musk revving up his criticism of the Trump-backed “Big, Beautiful” budget bill. Musk, in a Monday post on X, denounced the legislation and floated the idea of forming a new political party.

“It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country – the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” Musk wrote. “Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.”

I love his passion and for saving X.

Funny how the richest man in the world is a GOP supporter and the GOP push him away. It’s a mistake .

That said, he does often tweet Rand and Ron Paul posts so hoping he stays in the fold and bankrolls Rand’s campaign for president.

They don’t happen to be in power right now.
And they did lose all 7 swing states to Trump when they were in power, despite nearly a 100 indictments, in 4 big cases plus , trying to shoot Trump twice etc etc.
They still LOST!

To be honest I just admire the guys passion

The GOP has many factions hopefully Musk learns this and does not go LP or set up another party when there is no need to.

Just back candidates you like that’s how it should be done.

This is not good. I thought that perhaps it was a game between the two to reel in the Democrats into doing something stupid, but it looks like it might be the real thing.

Neither man am I a fan of, but YOU are.

Elon knows diddly about American government and understands less.

Everything has ALWAYS been about him and NOBODY else. That is a dangerous mindset. And NO (!), I have never liked him, so my opinion remained the same when he was supporting Trump! This is NOT the case that I am now "suddenly" against him, because he is now at odds with Trump.

I don’t get this drama either. Both of them laying it on rather thick.

Still smells like it’s contrived.

No idea to what end in either event.

I did say...WHEN THEY WERE IN POWER!

They always vote as a block, unlike GOP Senate and House supposed GOPers.

Not going to happen.
Reform hasn't won anything yet and Tories are not currently in power,
Plus the leader of the Tory party didn't[ even move to the UK from Nigeria till she was 16,

I value the friendship of these two men, who each have a problem with being discreet, in addition to holding their tongues (even in private) . . . regarding their disagreements.

Both fellows have made clear, what their concerns are re the budget. President Trump is leaning toward "growth is going to pay off," while Elon Musk is a bit more interested in "cutting costs."

Both fellows seem to mostly agree re cutting the size and some of the wickedness (disguised as "care" and "DEI") of the federal principality.

I wish that these guys would focus on being well-behaved leaders - setting good examples. Skip the smash-face utterances (that are too common, here at FreeRepublic.com).

IMHO

I know it’s a long shot...

Musk should stick with the GOP backing his favored candidates

Splitting the vote and handing easy wins to the Dems in many districts would be crazy

Didn’t stop them from losing to Trump and losing House and Senate did it?

Trump wants unlimited funds to be donated from the rich to political campaigns. If the USSC allows that then it will give Elon a ton of power no matter where he is.

Rand Paul is an embarrassing, self-aggrandizing waste of a US Senate seat.

When working as a team, one should seek out wins and know there will be some losses. His "all or nothing" approach serves nobody but himself.

Teddy was a tough guy, but even he couldn’t pull that off.
I've pointed that out to Elon on X as have plenty of others.
Let's hope he listens.

This is the problem with so many "on the spectrum". I've hired a couple over the years, and they were always a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Once they are triggered, there is NO reasoning with them. Musk got triggered. Like most "on the spectrum" reasoning or the "big picture" won't work with Elon.

That's an entirely different topic and one which I was NOT talking about!

Unlike the GOPers, the Dems NEVER ( okay, almost never; nothing is absolute ) have DINO stragglers, when it comes to passing BILLS, which they never read anyway.

Call me crazy but I think this is all planned by Trump and Elon to take the heat off of Trump AND still rid ourselves of these RINOS on our side of the isle!! Trump wants the spending to stop HOWEVER he also wants to hopefully improve the economy AND has to get the votes for the tax cuts!! It is just my opinion but I don’t think Elon really gives a crap about Tesla any longer his true passion right now is Space X, Trump and Elon both know that Boeing and NASA SUCK!!! Trump and Elon have to find a way to DRAIN THE SWAMP, I don’t exactly know what the hell they have up their sleeves BUT I believe they are scheming together to destroy the BEAST of government!!! They are keeping the MSM very busy with these tiff’s between them!!!
