I was looking for a punch line in the article. Something that would help me better manage my tinnitus. But I didn’t see it.

The current literature on getting older suggests that something like a casein protein before bed is helpful. I use micelular casein, plus creatine plus L citriline. That seems to help my sleep a lot. But I still have the tinnitus.

I didn’t see it either. There was a thread about a month ago about a new device that you could purchase from an audiologist for around $4,000 that if you wore it for about a month, it would cure you. I am waiting for it to get down to $1,999.

Me too. I found something: patients are told to only go to bed when they're actually tired.

So out with keeping a regular bed-time schedule. In with when you feel like it.

” But I still have the tinnitus.”

Look into a set of hearing aids. Often, tinnitus is caused by hearing loss. I have severe hearing loss, but awful tinnitus if I don’t wear mine.

Both Sam’s and Costco have licensed audiologists who will test you for free.
