F.F. Just so you know that I posted without trying it, but based on what I saw I believe it will work. I have seen other videos that use a 10 gallon clear plastic storage container that use things like hot dogs or rotten meat and sugar to attract hornets and wasps and drown in sudsy water, but then you have the problem of cleaning a container full of nasty afterwards.

Boric acid powder... before installing my kitchen cabinets I sprinkled boric acid powder along the walls and under the cabinets and have never seen a cockroach in my kitchen! The insulation in my walls is shredded newspaper that was soaked in boric acid. (Its also supposed to suppress fire and make it the insulation uninhabitable for vermin. I have also not seen mice inside my house.

I like the idea of the wasps taking it back to the nest.

I think my problem will be getting it where the raccoons can’t get into it and destroy it. They climb just fine. Maybe I will hang it near the bird feeders that have baffles already.
