Elon’s a smart guy. A well-funded third party MIGHT be a useful vehicle for a single candidate who wants to work around the system or at a single state level. as a productive force for Congress? No. 100+ years of two-party cooperation locking out other parties makes that impossible. In the 60s, the hippies took over the Democrats, Trump’s MAGA coalition is forcing an unwilling Republican Party into a relignment. These things are tectonic, and happen in ruptures and reconsolidations over a generation. patience, Elon. We might run out oftime before a collapse, then you might have an opportunity to move faster, like Millei in Argentina. That’s a painful way to go.

We may need a "MAGA" party. We have Mitt Romneys and Paul Ryans in the GOP.

It wouldn't be a bad thing if a new party would actually emerge. Many of us are only voting red because of Trump.
