I thought jobs required an I-9, and a copy of a birth certificate or passport as well as the Social Security card. That last one seems easy to fake, but some of this documentation is not easily faked.

All they need is a driver’s license and SS card. Both are easily faked and a dime a dozen if you know where to look. I can’t tell you how many subcontractor safety orientations I conducted where the Hispanic subcontract workers would pull their fake driver’s licenses out to make sure they put the correct name (not theirs) on their paperwork.

They could show up with all that stuff written in crayon on index cards and most of these places would hire them. Places that employ illegals know full well they're illegal, as long as they have something looking slightly legit it gets the company off the hook for hiring them. They don't look very hard because they don't want to look for it, they know they're illegal and are just looking for plausible deniability to cover their butt. It's like voter ID, everybody has an ID but we can't require one because democrats don't want to fix the fraud, it benefits them.

I live near a bunch of chicken processing plants. 90% of the workers are illegals and have been for 30 years. Everybody knows it, including the plant owners and government, but everyone ignores it because of $$$. The whole thing is a scam.
