COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) - Authorities in Colorado said two groups of people began attacking each other with cookware as a fight broke out at an apartment complex.
Police in Colorado Springs said they received 10 calls early Tuesday morning as what started as a disturbance between the groups grew into an all-out brawl, beginning inside the building before spilling out into the courtyard.
A Colorado Springs lieutenant said one of the groups of people said they were “jumped” in the stairwell inside the building.
Then, police claim video shared on social media showed the second group of people being “jumped” outside in the building’s courtyard by the first group of people.
The lieutenant said the suspects used household items as weapons.
“Both [fights] supposedly involved individuals hitting others with kitchen pots and pans,” he said.
During the fight in the courtyard, police said what appeared to be five people ganged up on one boy and began beating him with the cookware.
“Two of these individuals, one juvenile and one adult, were arrested for the assault,” the lieutenant said.
The adult was identified as 19-year-old Amiya Guzman. The name of the juvenile suspect has not been released due to their age.
Police say they are still trying to identify others involved in the incident, specifically the other three allegedly involved in assaulting the boy.

No good! Follow me!
This is why we need guns. Ban the pot!
Colorado Spring used to be nice before we were colonized.
I used to live in the “hood” of a mid sized upstate NY city. They used to have late night fights with full glass mayo and salsa jars. Of course all the broken glass would end up in my driveway somehow just before I needed to take off for work.
Gang insignia on the cookware gave it away.
This is ongoing gang warfare.
The reason they don’t have Tupperware parties in homes these days.
Do kitchen knives count as weapons?

Reminds me that after the fights over the bill in Congress, they will have to bury the hatchet.
Excedrin Headache Number 5.
It was an all on 1 attack, the way I read it.
If it had been a true brawl the Cast Iron skillet would have won.
Colorado being a stoner state one has to be careful around them folks they get testy real fast.
Notify ICE.

In the defense of fellow long-time 'Springs residents, please allow me to say that not everybody here is stupid. We have been overrun.
Sounds like a fun apartment complex.
Yes. I remember the Colorado Springs. My wife and I had a short honeymoon there in 1971. It was very clean, friendly and beautiful.
I know what has happened to it. Very sad for the damage.
Leftism destroys good things.
My condolence.

Not to mention the many battle lessons learned during operations in the Kasserole Pass.
Was it a battle between the Julia Child faction vs the Justin Wilson faction?
Yet people still make Tunis casseroles.
And what about that Pyrex victory in the Batter of Bunker Hill?
