For 60 years, I thought the opening notes were played by a baritone saxophone, but they are actually from a guitar hooked up to some sort of electronic gadget.

I also thought they were singing, "I'm trying to meet some girl," but a glance at the lyrics shows "I'm trying to make some girl." They were probably trying to make one by using a girl machine.

The hit tune we have been listening to, was never meant to be. Keef and the boys laid it down, buzzing guitar riff as a rough draft. He wanted horns to play the riff. It wasn’t intended for release, and he didn’t know it had been released as a single until he heard it on the radio. “WTF is this?”. He was pretty pissed off at the time.
