A bison was gruesomely boiled to death in a Yellowstone National Park hot spring last week — as tourists watched in horror.
The buffalo met its ghastly end when it apparently stumbled into the scalding water at Midway Geyser Basin near Old Faithful, according to the park service.
“There were two bison [standing] there,” said Louise Howard, who witnessed the bison’s death during her first-ever visit to Yellowstone, to CBS News.
“I thought it was a great photo opportunity.”
But the shutter-worthy sight quickly turned tragic when one of the bison stepped into a small part of the basin, then tried hopping out.
Within a matter of seconds, the beast began teetering at the edge of the Grand Prismatic Spring — the largest hot spring in the entire park — and then fell in.
“As hard as it tried, it couldn’t get out,” said Howard, who snapped pictures of the bison’s final moments.
Fortunately, the poor animal met its end “fairly quickly,” according to Michael Poland, the scientist-in-charge at Yellowstone Volcano Observatory.
The animal was thrashing around so intensely that it moved into an even hotter area of the Grand Prismatic, thus dying faster.
Poland dispelled rumors that the water was acidic and that that’s what killed the animal, instead pointing to its intensely high temperatures.

Sadly, they all drown. The Bible says every creature was destroyed including humans of course. When Adam fell the curse of sin was upon the whole planet and death reigned.
Sometimes, we don’t understand God’s wrath and his ways. But we go by faith. Adam drove the car over the cliff and took us all with him. That is why we will all die. The good news is the Bible says one man undid what Adam did. So we have the blessed hope. The resurrection.
Who knows....maybe all the animals will be there too. God is just....and he’s merciful and he’s forgiving. But we either believe the holy scriptures or we don’t. I do.

I read the Bible. I feel safe in saying God never intended for anyone to die including animals he created. Sin is the result of choice. Love allows for choice.
You should try reading about the love and justice of God. You’d probably feel more confident in saying God never intended anyone or anything he created to boil to death.

In my ornithology research I’ve seen some pretty disturbing ‘stuff. Never laugh or joke about it as need to gather the required data, and if in the roadway, move it out of the roadway. If it’s involving a deer, coyote, etc it can be a chore.
My belief is that people that laugh or enjoy seeing something like the video are either emotionally deficient or intellectually deficient. Either way, it’s not good.

Animail sacrifices were symbolic and pointed forward to the atoneing sacrifice God’s only son would make on the cross. And he was appeased by the sacrifice of his son. Sin was punished in his son. Now even idiots like you can go to heaven.
it’s best to read the Bible and pray for understanding of what things like sacrifices unto the Lord were all about then highlighting 4 words and making a stupid point. God is love.....and he loves all his created beings. even you.

I was doing no such thing. You STILL presume know the mind of God. I was showing you that the Bible can be used to support most any viewpoint no matter how silly. So, I'll up the anti: If God didn't want the Buffalo to wander into boiling and foul smelling springs, He would have made them just a touch smarter.
I don't think God micromanages the Earth. If He did, there would be no wars, no cancer, and certainly no politicians.

Wars? Cancer? Politicians? Friend....the son of God was murdered on this sin filled earth. He didn’t even make it to 34 years of age before the creation killed the creator.
I’m not sure you are a student of the Bible. And the great controversy between Good and evil that originated in heaven. And how Love always allows for choice. Sadly, our parents made the wrong choice took us all down with them.
