Netanyahu and Trump want a Palestinian state as much as Khamenei wants a Jewish one. However, just as they did with the previous round of the Abraham Accords, they’ll float that option and vaguely mention “a path towards two states” just so the Palestinians will reject the proposal, thus paving the way to add more countries to the Accords. Don’t believe anyone who claims otherwise. Thankfully, this time we don’t need to speculate anymore. We have seen this scenario before, and we know how it works!

There is already a Palestinian state. Jordan.
The final result will be that the Abraham Accords coalition including Saudi Arabia will develop governance and money to rebuild Gaza and the West Bank into a completely new entity.
All the old elements will be excluded except for some face saving propositions. The new protectorate will be under the coalition rule for perhaps at least ten years while the government and especially the economy are being developed into sustainable reality.
What was Palestine will not be in the future. The change can’t occur absent Arab coalition ( Saudi Arabia and UAE) money and they are not going to allow the money to continue to be rat holed. The Sunni’s will never again allow any vestige of Shia radicalism to exist, much less control.
The primary problem of Iran and the surrogates is pretty much over. Iran is no longer capable of supporting them. If President Trump doesn’t screw around whining Peace, Peace, Peace and allow Hamas to be exterminated completely the process can begin pretty soon.
President Trump and his peace at any price deal making might end up screwing the process he set out to create in his first term
