Yep, not a Redford fan, but I thought, "The Natural," was an excellent film. One of my favorite X-Files episode was titled, "They Unnatural," and was written by David Duchovny who is a huge baseball fan. The episode had lots of subtle references intertwining baseball mythology with UFO mythology and was a flashback episode set in and around 1947.
I don’t understand why Asimov’s Foundation trilogy hasn’t become a huge movie.
Or Niven’s Ringworld, for that matter.
“Eww. Terrible movie.’
Yep. I suffered through it. Only good scene was where Crash taught baseball interview cliches to Nuke.
Yes, that is a really different and interesting premise. IIRC, it was about people waking up from death along a planet-wide river with all their tribulations and survival needs. I found it interesting that their food appears on large mushrooms upon awakening in the morning.
There are countless ideas for movies/TV. I'm sick of all the reboots/remakes. The latest is Brad Pitt doing a racing movie like Cruise did years back. Really?
Me also, because I can’t stand Sarandon. I mostly like what Costner does.
