The occasional profanity is appropriate.

Or expected.

In the Army, I learned the F-bomb, was a verb, noun, adjective, adverb, expletive, and place marker, both complimentary and derogatory.

Frequently in the same sentence.

“I don’t give a f-—. You f—ing, f—ers, f—ing, get f—g going, right f— now, you f—wits. F—k!”

And that was just the CO warming up and in a good mood.
