My concern would be them hitting water treatment plants, power plants, various infrastructure (power/communication/water/sewage lines, etc) and food processing plants.

IF I were a terrorist, I'd go where the population is mostly disarmed - doubt they'll hit Cheyanne or Houston. We have an armed population primarily in red states. The blue states not so much, or rather I should say the blue cities. Except for of course NY where most of the population votes Democrat even in places where you wouldn't expect it. Are terrorists cells going to hit a dairy farm in the Finger Lakes? Probably not, They'll go for something in NYC where the population has been conditioned to think of guns as evil and to be avoided. Same with Boston and Chicago etc.

WHile I hope they've come to the conclusion that there isn't anything to be gained by killing Americans except possibly life in supermax or the needle, this would be another case of chickens coming home to roost.

Yes, but... we also have a lot of sheeple too timid to own a firearm, much less use it. We need to get more pro-active and organized re: defensive measures. We need neighborhood watchdog militias that can activate if or when these terrorist cells activate. I know, I’m still dreaming... but it’s a nice one, for a change.

They set of bombs. It’s unlikely they’ll try to shoot anyone. If they do it will be in a gun free zone. There’s one GFZ I normally carry in. They set up a magnetic checkpoint with a “guard.” The guard was a possible sixty-year-old, overweight, black woman. She appeared to be armed with a stun gun. I can’t imagine she would be of much use against an active killer. More just a speedbump. It’s ridiculous I have to surrender my ability to defend myself to what I believe to be an absolute incompetent.

But back to the point. If these are trained terrorists, you won’t have a chance to fire back. You’ll never see them.
