Lots of misinformation with the Florida “go ahead drive over them”

It is important to remember that there is not a single law in any country that allows one to kill another.

If you drive over someone with your car you’re going to be tried for murder.
If someone breaks into your house and you kill them, you’re going to be tried for murder.

If you kill anyone for any reason, you’re going to face a judge.

“If you drive over someone with your car you’re going to be tried for murder.”

Maybe in Pennsylvania....but not necessarily in Florida.

I don’t know about that Florida law. But I would make a change to your statement above. You won’t always face a judge. However, you will certainly be looked at by a DA.

Anyway, your overall point is well taken. Even if you gotta do what you gotta do, you’re in for no small hassle.

That simply isn’t true. The Castle Doctrine has held up in several states and cases where people have killed slime who broke into their home without getting charged

A civil lawsuit by relatives of the deceased is more of a certainty . Criminal families know how to exploit the system.

Stick to what you know.

Whatever that is, it isn’t FL law.
