A first-of-its-kind clinical trial shows that therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) combined with intravenous immunoglobulin reduced biological age on average by 2.6 years, as measured by multi-omic biomarkers.
The results provide early data on the impact of TPE on biological age, supporting its potential for new disease and longevity applications.
Therapeutic plasma exchange is a procedure that separates, removes, and replaces a patient's plasma to treat certain diseases. The study investigated how TPE impacts biomarkers associated with biological age, including changes across the epigenome, proteome, metabolome, glycome and immune system, alongside physical measures like balance and strength. Research participants were assigned one of four different treatment groups: 1) biweekly TPE, 2) biweekly TPE with intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), 3) monthly TPE or 4) a control group.
The study found:
Patients receiving TPE showed a reduction in biological age, as measured by multi-omics biomarkers, with the most significant reductions in those patients that received TPE with IVIG. Participants undergoing biweekly TPE-IVIG treatment exhibited an average biological age reduction of 2.61 years, compared to 1.32 years for those receiving TPE alone.
Patients receiving TPE with IVIG experienced changes in immune cells associated with reversed age-related immune decline. This intervention modulated cellular senescence-associated proteins and restored age-associated shifts in immune cell composition. This indicates that TPE with IVIG may improve the body's ability to fight infections and other age-related diseases, particularly those related to inflammation.
Individuals with biomarkers associated with poorer baseline health status, including higher baseline levels of circulating bilirubin, glucose, and liver enzymes, saw the greatest reduction in biological age and improvement in biomarkers. The treatment also showed a benefit for healthy individuals, including balance and strength.
While the observed treatment effects were strongest after the initial three sessions, subsequent treatments showed diminishing returns, suggesting that spacing out treatments may enhance long-term benefits.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
There is another way to get the same biological age reduction in three months. I will post that next.
My wife and I have done this and it really helps.

Oh boy. You get to do 89 2.6 times. Just what I was hoping for /s. Actually 26 would be ok to do three times. Can they make that happen?
So,Heinlein was right.🤔
So you mean Geritol was telling the truth when they advertised that it could fix “tired blood?”
Replaces it with what?
There is no explanation.
With YOUNGER patients’ plasma?
This sort of thing has been rumored to be in use amongst the ultra wealthy tech elites.
You don’t get lumps like Henry Kissinger having lived as long otherwise.
I read something similar years ago, during Pizzagate. Something about “harvesting” blood from terrorized, abused children, and elevated levels of adrenaline in the children’s blood. Demonic if true. Gives an additional incentive to child trafficking. What came to mind was Pedesta’s painting of nakedness children standing against a wall with whip marks all over their backsides.
Do you have to do it 3 months in a row. My hub and I did the Prolon FMD once about 8 years ago..we did NOT like it at all...felt run down by the end. My mindset might be different now, tho.
You don’t have to do it three in a row, but that was how the studies were done. Every month helps, but they generally expect three in a row for most people.
Six in a row was done for diabetics and those results were amazing. It was supervised, though, because low blood sugar and insulin issues complicate it for diabetics. The dieters saw a 20+ pound loss and a 60% improvement in insulin sensitivity, among other positives. Remember, this diet is not primarily intended for weight loss—it is for autophagy and stem cell multiplication. Weight loss is a side-effect, if you will. You go back to eating how you did before for the next 25-30 days, but you will find you don’t want to.
The effects, even if done months apart, are additive, but there is a likely benefit to successive months to cycle out as much defective stuff as possible.
They say you could just do one FMD every four months over 20 years and reduce your metabolic age by over 11 years, during that time.
Thank you. I am thinking I will try it again this fall.
It helps to attend the daily diet support meetings. You can ask questions of the leader, too. You can also just view them as videos if you sign up for the meetings for that week.
We have felt renewed at the end of each cycle and have seen issues even go away. What is interesting is that you don’t know what, aside from published stuff, you can know should happen; however, you will have other things addressed. I am finding I am having amazing recall of things from decades ago, for instance. Last night, I was talking about college at one place I went and, somehow, names of five people I had in classes that were my age came back to me. These were people I didn’t do much with and I last saw or talked with them in passing over 35 years ago.
Yeah, I don’t get it, either.
