Well I was at that clinching game 6. That’s the mountain top. It doesn’t get much better in spectator sports than that to be in the home arena when the home team wins a championship. Congrats to Florida and their fans who experienced it tonight.

I remember back when there were only 6 teams in the NHL. Used to watch the Chicago Blackhawks on WGN channel 9. Glen Hall, Bobby Hull, Stan Makita, Moose Vasko, Pierre Pilote. Hated the Habs, particularly John Furgeson. Was never the same after the expansion. Hockey in Florida? Really?
