Frank turned 101 years old this past November. He says it’s a 50/50 chance he’ll be hunting next year … at 102. I had a German uncle who married into our Italian family. Until the day he died at age 86, he and his cronies would go into the mountains of Pennsylvania every year and bag a buck. My folks would get a nice venison roast.

Thanks for the great story! I bet every meal from that deer brings back memories of Rich, Frank and the hunt. I have my Great Grandfather’s 1894, and his Colt SAA too. And my Grandfather’s Browning Hi-Power, Dad’s Remington 600, etc, etc. Guns are wonderful family heirlooms.
