I see the same thing with some of these old women around me.
When my mother was alive she was a devoted dem. During election season she would get all kinds of mail from dems telling her how Republicans were going to take away her Social Security. She would panic over this for months and then when it didn't happen she'd be relieved, but, then the next election season would arrive and it would start all over again. She didn't believe that dems were lying to her in those letters, she just thought the dems were able to stop the Republicans, smh.

Whoops! I left out one of my favorites from my mother’s paternal KING family. The KINGS had family members fight in all of America’s Wars. My favorite was my great, grand uncle who fought in the Indian Wars from January 1876 to January 1881 with Ranald Makenzie’s 4th U.S. Cavalry, to include the Great Sioux War of 1876 and was also involved in the chase of Dull Knife and Little Wolf during the Cheyenne Exodus (Cheyenne Autumn, stupid 60s book and an even stupider movie). And finished up engaging Victorio and the Apaches in New Mexico and Texas in 1880. In January 1881 he was released from the Army at Fort Riley, Kansas with an Excellent rating. “No Kings” my ass. There were KINGS and there were a lot of them. They fought for America. They didn’t riot for themselves. I’m one of their descendants.
I’m a 74 year old guy; and, I don’t feel fearful of anything right now. Not only that, I just can’t imagine why everyone didn’t vote for that guy. Why am I not in the news?
