At the end Charlie explained what will happen if Rand got his way. Doing so would take away the possibility of passing it with 50 votes. Which would mean we would have to negotiate with Schumer and give the democrats a list of things far worse than anything Rand is complaining about. At this point we have to give zero to democrats. The bill is not perfect, but as is, it is far better than anything that is passable. It codifies a lot (a lot) of the MAGA agenda we all love, and starting over isn't a path to any kind of victory.
Rand likely knows all this (if he doesn't he's terribly naive), yet there he goes. My hope is Rand is doing a good job hyping his issues to change the bill now. My realistic sense is telling me there is something negative going on with him. We'll see.

Rand says he will vote for an imperfect bill he wants the debt ceiling hike off the table then he will vote for it !
