Rand wants a redo of the bill I cannot see it happening but who knows.

Not happening. That would be a terminally stupid move.
Within the next few months there will have to be a rise.
At that point it would require 60 votes. To get those votes there would be a large $demand from democrats for their agenda. Either Rand is disingenuous or he’s not good with strategy.
At the end Charlie explained what will happen if Rand got his way. Doing so would take away the possibility of passing it with 50 votes. Which would mean we would have to negotiate with Schumer and give the democrats a list of things far worse than anything Rand is complaining about. At this point we have to give zero to democrats. The bill is not perfect, but as is, it is far better than anything that is passable. It codifies a lot (a lot) of the MAGA agenda we all love, and starting over isn't a path to any kind of victory.
Rand likely knows all this (if he doesn't he's terribly naive), yet there he goes. My hope is Rand is doing a good job hyping his issues to change the bill now. My realistic sense is telling me there is something negative going on with him. We'll see.

rand paul has little big man syndrome, and think he can force Trump to bow before him....
If rand was so powerful, he should have led the negotiations in the budget while it was being crafted, instead of just saying no to it, without any real solutions.
