The purified carbon nanotube cables achieved an electrical conductivity of 7.7 megasiemens per meter.

Conductivity being the inverse of resistance (unit: Ohm), that corresponds to 1.3 x 10-4 mOhm/m. That's pretty good!

This means little. The weight of motors isn’t the problem with EVs.

It can be if you want the motor in the wheel hub (direct drive). Then unsprung mass is of paramount concern.

That borders on superconductor range!..................

“Recycling composites is usually a bear.”

These are NOT composites.

“HA! I was wondering if anyone else noticed that.”

Obviously you are not versed in nanotube terminology ...

fiber /fī′bər/
noun

A slender, elongated, threadlike object or structure.
One of the elongated, thick-walled cells that give strength and support to plant tissue.
Any of the filaments constituting the extracellular matrix of connective tissue.
It IS carbon, and it IS a fiber. If I want to refer to them that way, I will do so.

A Volkswagen is a car
A Chevrolet is also a car

I can refer to either as a car.

“It IS carbon, and it IS a fiber. If I want to refer to them that way, I will do so.”

And you will continue to display your ignorance.

Tell me that either “carbon” or “fiber” attributes do not apply; and, we’ll see who is ignorant.

I see they are made of carbon, and that they are a tubular fiber: Carbon Nanofiber

You must be married to one, making you unsocially pedantic about their nomenclature.
