Next time wearing some head gear and eye protection dummy
Rubber bulletS are 100% ‘dei’.
LOL... It goes without saying... Reporters who go to war zones without the proper equipment may be injured.
Shouldn’t with the WRONG SIDE
A lot of photojournalists down there hunting that Pulitzer-winning Kent Stae shot. Not surprising one of them got beaned.
Are press passes visible from 100 yards away?
Do these idiot reporters think they can stand in the middle of a riot and not get hurt? Does the press pass act as a high-tech force field that stops bullets?
What a moron.
Lawfare incoming.
He’s lucky - it hit him in the only place it would do no harm.
He could have had an eye put out, or got smacked in the junk.
If you’re going to hang around where a riot is happening, bad things can happen. No sympathy.
But but he is a ‘dad of two’ !
It was nice of the cops to nail him in an inert place.
The officers are sheltering under the overpass to keep from getting hit in the head with a rock.
Looks like a number of them are aiming in his general direction.
Not buying the ‘suddenly’ !

“ Toby Canham, who was on assignment for The Post and standing just off the 101 Freeway at an elevated level, was filming video of the chaos between cops and rioters when a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer suddenly turned his weapon toward him and fired from about 100 yards away.”
Oh no! The guy is in the middle of a riot/melee by illegal enemy combatants who ill not obey lawful orders and he gets hit by a rubber bullet, without reading the article let me guess. The police obviously targeted him a member of the press for documenting their abuse of mostly peaceful illegal alien rioters who who looting, destroying property and committing arson while oh yea attacking the police. His proof? Isn’t it obvious in the midst of all this mayhem they took deliberate aim to shoot poor victim him in the head.
LEOs should stop using rubber bullets. Many of the Protesters are also Climate Change activists also and petroleum is used in the manufacturing of rubber bullets. Copper jacketed lead is much more Climate friendly.
I can’t understand why he was struck with a projectile at a “peaceful” demonstration. Makes no sense.
"I don't deserve this... to die like this. I was building a house."
You are still alive because you got hit in the head by a piece of rubber, Mr. Photojournalist (and 59 year old dad of two). So much reality, so little understanding of it.
geez, the round was going slow enough to step out of the way...
impressive shot for the officer.
