I just don’t understand this....

Percentage of Computers Using Microsoft Windows
As of early 2025, Microsoft Windows remains the dominant operating system for desktop and laptop computers worldwide:

Windows holds about 72% of the global desktop operating system market share as of March 2025.

Apple’s macOS accounts for around 15% of desktop systems, with Linux and Chrome OS making up most of the remainder.

When considering all computing devices (including smartphones and tablets), Windows’ share is lower:

Windows has approximately 25% of the total global operating system market (including mobile and desktop).

Android leads overall with about 46%, and iOS has around 18%.

Percentage of Home Computers Using Microsoft Windows
There are no official, globally standardized statistics that separate home (consumer) computers from business or institutional use. However, available data and expert estimates suggest:

Windows likely accounts for about 60% of home (consumer) desktop and laptop computers in the United States, with macOS at around 30%, and Chrome OS/Linux making up the remaining 10%.

Globally, the share of Windows among home computers is probably higher than macOS but lower than its total desktop share, as business and education sectors often boost Windows’ numbers.

“Every statistic I can find about the market share of Windows and macOS in the US appears to include businesses and the government... If I were to estimate the market distribution for consumer desktops, I would venture a guess of around 60% for Windows, 30% for Mac, and about 10% for Chrome OS and Linuxcombined.

I dug into these numbers for about a week. They are purposely skewed. Turns out everyone claiming these numbers are highly funded from Microsoft. The Linux Desktop Market is at least double what they claim.

I know this sounds crazy, and not on point to what you posted:

My Questions, do I own the phone lines (or does Microsoft) that come into my house?

Do I own the router that I use for my monthly proscription $$$ internet connection (or does Microsoft?)

Do I own my Laptop that I use (purchased with my money $$$) (or does Microsoft?)

Maybe someone with more brains than me, can explain how Microsoft, can steal via thief of services, both my telephone services and my proscription $$$ internet connection.

Just how in the world by purchasing a Laptop did I waive / give Microsoft rights / access to my Laptop? Put another way why is it not deemed that Microsoft is doing / committing COMPUTER TRESSPASS!
