I am 62. I was 213 pounds and 5’ 9” beginning of December.
My wife and I started intermittent fasting for 36 hour periods twice a week. Nothing else.
I work in an office job. I do a lot of work around the house.
I am now 187. Down 26 pounds. The first 10-12 pounds was easy. I am slowly trying to get back to 175.
FYI, after 35 years old I went from 31” to 32” to 34” to 36” to 38” pants. I am now back in 36”. I can squeeze into 34s.
Good job! Yes, fasting is effective.
My farming career included plenty of livestock related work, very physical. The last 16 years of it I worked various physically demanding off the farm jobs.
But quitting the farm career in 2001, then becoming a truck driver, showed me how quickly weight can be added. I nipped it in the bud by exercising at the end of the day, whether at home or a truckstop (I’m proof you don’t need a gym full of equipment to stay in shape).
We daily take some apple cider vinegar with water and juice. That stuff does work wonders.
