It’s sad, really sad that people love their taste buds much more than the rest of their bodies.
My youngest brother had a health scare that was brought on by his weight. He’s 61, a former cop, 6’ and was about 285. He is now hovering around 200 and is delighted with how light he feels on his feet. He gave up sugary everything, and exercised.
I’ve always been active, and have been motivated to stay slim and fit because my wife has always been that way.
I am 62. I was 213 pounds and 5’ 9” beginning of December.
My wife and I started intermittent fasting for 36 hour periods twice a week. Nothing else.
I work in an office job. I do a lot of work around the house.
I am now 187. Down 26 pounds. The first 10-12 pounds was easy. I am slowly trying to get back to 175.
FYI, after 35 years old I went from 31” to 32” to 34” to 36” to 38” pants. I am now back in 36”. I can squeeze into 34s.
