I have been watching some older videos from the 2007 to 2008 discussing the UFO/alien topic.

The aliens that spoke to humans had one consistent message.

They predicted “the event” for a few years in the future...

Coulthart is following the typical journey of UFO researchers.

First they got a couple of sources that give interesting information that is probably valid.

Encouraged by that they start digging deeper and get to meet lots of folks with “stories” that get harder and harder to confirm—except by other story-tellers with similar stories who vouch for the bona fides of the previous sources.

Then they meet the prophets—the storytellers who have end of the world stories to tell.

At that point many researchers give up in disgust and go back to their day jobs.

Some stick with it and end up nutty as a fruitcake.

We all live on borrowed time as does the earth, sen etc so nothing new there. A polar shift would have minimal effect on living things just screw up your magnetic navigation system and references.

If it were an asteroid or comet, the amateur astronomers all over the planet would be telling us.

I was thinking along those lines.

The fact that only people under national security oaths are hinting at something, and that no credible public scientists are confirming it, strongly rules out:

• A pole shift (geophysics isn’t classified)

• An asteroid impact (astronomers would see it)

• A solar event (solar physicists would warn us)

• A climate collapse (already public, no need for oaths)

That leaves only one domain where:

• The information is tightly compartmentalized

• Civilian scientists have little or no access

• And insiders express urgency but can’t talk

Conclusion:

• If the event were publicly knowable, we'd already know.

• If it's still secret, it's because it's inaccessible to civilian science.

• If people like Coulthart are being warned but not briefed, something compartmentalized and intelligence-related is behind it.

• If there's a deadline, it's not because of good planning—it's because of external pressure or a forced hand.

• If the event were known globally, it would have leaked through other nations or scientific channels by now.

• The fact that only a handful of insiders—bound by U.S. or allied national security oaths—are hinting at it implies the knowledge is restricted to a small intelligence bloc, like the United States or Five Eyes.

This all suggests non-human disclosure scenario being forced on the government, not asteroid or AI apocalypse.

Of course, it may be psyops.

I’ve never seen the movie, but read the book(s), “After Worlds Collide” was the sequel, as a teen. I wish Hollywood would remake them with modern technology. It would be a great pair of movies!...................

My popcorn machine is fairly new, so I don't think "The Event" is its demise. It would be the end of the world if it did fail, however.
