That third article listed about the Army’s marching, I commented within my family about that at last year’s Fourth of July parade in Junction City, Kansas. I was informed by military that they don’t emphasize it as a showy parade presence isn’t a high priority. I’m not sure how I feel about that, but there you are.

Here for a few minutes - I want to go out and do some yard work before heat of day intensifies. Rain on and off predicted today

Marching. I noted there were a lot of marching units. Wearing different uniforms of various eras

No precision (Elite Tomb of Unknown Soldier comes to mind

I wish they would have been permitted to be more interactive.

the ones in tanks were but I guess it would have looked even less regimented for them to be waving or high fiving

I noted in the viewing seating -VIPs many of the women looked completely bored and sour- unfortunately
