I saw it this week.

I hadn’t followed the previous movies so it took a minute to remember the players. The story did not make a ton of sense. The stunts and cinematography were 10/10. Tom cruise is my age, and he is in great shape. But…he is my age.

It was almost three hours long.

I went on Senior Discount night, so it wasn’t THAT expensive.

It was about a 7/10. If you are a fan of the others in the series it was a nice bit of closure.

I like Cruise generally, but sometimes the ultra-cockiness grates. That’s why I’ve intentionally never seen a couple of his films. I’d recommend Collateral with him and Jamie Foxx for a very atypical Cruise film that I really liked. I’ve enjoyed the MI series and look forward to seeing it

I saw it Memorial day. I concur with your review. My major criticism is that plot was full of mission impossible situations like “you have one millisecond to capture the AI” or the world will end. Of course Cruise manages to complete his mission in one piece. Also one of my favorite actors Esai Morales plays the evil genius yet he doesn’t get enough character development. And the movie ran out of ideas when Esai meets his fate exactly like the guy before him two minutes ago. Other than that, it was a typical bing, bang boom MI movie.
