After I locked my keys in my car in college, I made sure that wouldn’t happen again. I always held my keys between my teeth until the car was safely locked. Did this for decades and don’t seem unduly disturbed because of it.

I was so anxious to get into the skating rink that I left my keys on my car seat after reaching in to get my skates. I went inside and asked the manager if I could borrow a crosscut saw. Why? To get my keys out of my car. He followed me out to the parking lot. I slipped the blade between the door and window and pushed the lock actuator bar. Unlocked. 10 seconds. 1973 Olds Omega (Chevy Nova pattern).
