The writings on the wall, not even Trump can save this dying nation. Sick of defeatist? I’m sick of people who can’t see what’s right the F in front of them. Look at our debt. Look at how sick society is. Trump is but a minor speed bump on the way down. Not even Trump is willing to do what is needed to deport Bidens illegals. He’s completly tied up by a demented judiciary. They are succeeding in running the clock out on Trump. At this point I am 100% willing to let the Democrats drive this thing off the cliff quickly so I can fight while I still can. And I want to fight. I’m sick of playing by the rules because we are the only ones doing it. Even after a convincing win Trump is still being stymied at every turn. Even appointments that were supposed to really start getting S done have either been compromised or are too scared to do what needs to be done. So bring on the collapse, cause I want to raise some serious hell before I am too old to do it.
I love this country and I feel a deep obligation to paying back to it what it has done for me and hundreds of millions of people who lived before me. And I feel that it is MY time in history to do what many before me have done to put me where I am in this place and time.
But that doesn’t mean at this time to take up arms. If you want that, there will be time enough.
But not yet.
History is full of people who badly wanted the kinetic fight to come on, the sooner the better.
Then, after the extended misery and depredations of death, destruction, poverty, and starvation, could only sadly obsess on how to extricate themselves from it, forgetting that they had welcomed it, and even advocated for it.
I am not one of those people.
I am enough of a student of history to know that if the fight comes, one must fight, but only as a last resort.
I am already too old to “raise serious Hell”. But if it comes, it will come for me too, regardless of my age, and I will be faced with that choice of raising Hell, or having Hell raised on me.
And, by the way-we don’t have to get crossways with each other on this. I understand your viewpoint. I simply feel differently about it than you do, even if on many things we are on the same side.
