Every time I hear it I remember it was played on the plane bringing home the released Iranian hostages on 1/20/81 — just as Reagan was being inaugurated.

“Celebration” was the theme song for the Oakland A’s back in 1980. I think Billy Martin was the manager at the time and they called it “Billy Ball”.
