God gave you free will. I suppose you are not bound by any laws if that is what you choose.
When Jesus died on the cross, HIS testament went into effect. Laws that were not carried over - (mentioned in the New Testament) were dropped. It’s why we can eat pork and shellfish etc, and Jews (bound by the Old Testament) can’t. Lots of differences...
