Wow! Smart! And yes, “badly needed”.

Great idea. Some judge would put the kibosh on it though.

As long as DOGE can look at their records, then great.

Better to get out of the education business all together. It is not a federal responsibility.

A) It's not Harvard's money.

B) How do you prevent the money from being misused by the trade schools?

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!

HARD TO DISAGREE ON ANY LEVEL

MOST of us deal with tradesmen more than we deal with HARVARD grads, anyway

Without their more than 30% foreign students, surely they’d have some classrooms, dormitories, dining halls, etc., available for some of those trade students instead!

I support Harvard, where I received my PhD! NIH and NSF grants supported my education and research.

Those grants that Trump wants to divert to “trade schools” support research on cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, ALS, etc. etc. Harvard scientists who do this research are NOT responsible for the antisemitic and anti-Christian activity at Harvard and other universities!

Trade schools can take care of themselves, thank you! But reducing the population of potential university students to “trade school” status only helps communist China become the world research leader!

By the way, some (mostly ignorant) people call my undergraduate institution, MIT, a “trade school”. It was not one when I attended, and if it can get away from so much computer science, it will not be one now!

Lower the federal income tax (as a step towards weaning USA off it). But it would be better for America to flush the money down the toilet than to keep giving it to Harvard.

good idea but beware corruption fallows money and my experience is the trade schools out there are just as liable to misuse the money...

There’s PLENTY for Trade Schools to research, if the money is earmarked for that purpose - such as alternative wire nut designs.

(don’t worry if you don’t know what a wire nut is, that’s Trump point...not enough people do know)

Taking money from Harvard? Is this a tax? No, there is no taking. Grants to Harvard do not belong to Harvard. Our money does not belong to Harvard.
