Wow! Smart! And yes, βbadly neededβ.
Great idea. Some judge would put the kibosh on it though.
As long as DOGE can look at their records, then great.
GREAT idea!
Better to get out of the education business all together. It is not a federal responsibility.
Ha ha NY Times. You actually mean our tax payer money no longer going to Harvard.
B) How do you prevent the money from being misused by the trade schools?
Trimester system at junior colleges. No summers off. Get straight to work in as little over a year. I’ve said it here before.
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!
HARD TO DISAGREE ON ANY LEVEL
MOST of us deal with tradesmen more than we deal with HARVARD grads, anyway
ASSIGN A DOGE MEMBER TO OVERSEE
Without their more than 30% foreign students, surely they’d have some classrooms, dormitories, dining halls, etc., available for some of those trade students instead!
Get the government out of the student grant and loan business altogether. Trump won’t be President forever. Sooner or later we will elect another [redacted] demonicRAT for President and the first thing they’ll do is increase the cost of trade schools.
And what happens after another [redacted] demonicRAT gets elected President?
Fantastic idea!
Paging Mike Roweβ¦Mike Rowe to the white courtesy phoneβ¦the White House is holding.
Bring back wood shop!
I support Harvard, where I received my PhD! NIH and NSF grants supported my education and research.
Those grants that Trump wants to divert to “trade schools” support research on cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, ALS, etc. etc. Harvard scientists who do this research are NOT responsible for the antisemitic and anti-Christian activity at Harvard and other universities!
Trade schools can take care of themselves, thank you! But reducing the population of potential university students to “trade school” status only helps communist China become the world research leader!
By the way, some (mostly ignorant) people call my undergraduate institution, MIT, a “trade school”. It was not one when I attended, and if it can get away from so much computer science, it will not be one now!
Harvard’s endowment, the University’s largest financial asset, stood at $53.2 billion as of June 30, 2024.
I think they will be ok.
