Exactly. He's extracting himself and the United States from the situation and letting them fight it out. Re Russia & Ukraine, someone wrote, "I hope both of them win."

Putin’s attacks these last few days were retaliatory. Trump should know that. You ALL should know that. Russia isn’t going to stand by and get bitch-slapped by the West over and over and not do anything about it.

How can you defend Putin given your tagline? Trump has made Putin a very favorable peace offer that includes keeping much of the land captured during the war and rehabilitation back into the human race. Putin should have jumped at that deal, but he didn’t. He is nothing but a two bit warmonger.

I don’t think Putin is running the country anymore... This has taken on a whole new personality.Making excuses for Putin? "Aww, but he used to be such a pussycat when he was just ordering columns of heavy armor to march on Kyiv! And launching hypersonic missiles against civilian centers was so-oo cute! That rascal!" Seriously?!
Putin has never been anything else but an evil-hearted threat to freedom.

Trump got “briefed” by that lying weasel Kellogg and doesn’t have any real idea what’s going on. Par for the course...when you hire neocon trash, they feed you garbage.Your first impulse is to always attack members of the Trump Administration - you wouldn't dream of considering that maybe Putin could possibly be the "bad guy" in this scenario!
How about this for a possible explanation: Putin is a power-mad dictator bent on rebuilding the old Soviet Union, and President Trump is gradually abandoning his previous approach of treating him with restraint.
Makes far more sense to me!

Bottom line - Trump doesn’t agree with how Putin is fighting the war...but I doubt that bothers Putin or anyone else in Moscow. So, do you think Putin would be right to dismiss President Trump?
That's a question demanding a YES/NO answer.

Poor Trump keeps letting his mouth overload his A$$. It is because he just about fully owned by the Deep State Uniparty. [...] If you listen to Trump’s flip flopping on Ukraine and Russia, we might be in second admendment [sic]
territory and justification for impeachment. Trump keeps playing both sides. But the world unforunately [sic]
see’s [sic]
him as a farce [...] I love TrumpDoesn't sound like you do. Sounds more like you are trying to undermine him.
And what's this talk about "Second Amendment territory" and "impeachment?" You're making no sense!

"In the past 24 hours Kellogg has repeatedly lied about the targets of the missile strikes on Kiev...characterizing them as civilian when in fact they were not." Missiles ain't free, so I seriously doubt they would be used on anything other than strategic targets. If the goal is to harm civilians the best targets would still be infrastructure such as electrical power distribution.

Not even Trump thinks Putin is trying to reform the Soviet Union. Yeah, the mere fact that he has ignited the greatest conflict in Europe since the end of WWII... That he has invited nuclear NORTH KOREA to join in on the invasion... That he has been rocket-bombing civilian centers in Ukraine... That he has annexed vast swathes of territory...
All those FACTS mean nothing to you. Putin remains, for you, a "peacenik."

“He needs to walk away from Europe and the Mideast. Cut loose all “allies.” Focus on domestic problems.
That’s my idea of America First. Maintain a strong defense but stay out of international meddling. Focus on our borders, crime, economy, cultural decay.”
Post of the month. Heck, post of the year.
A rational and sane post in this sea of insanity.
Too many Zelensky bots are “America Last”. They yearn to see US citizens bankrupted and penniless for Ukraine. They yearn to see US troops fighting and dying in Ukraine. It’s sick and treasonous.
It’s very simple: America first, Ukraine Last.

The assassination attempt on Putin destroyed any chances of talks.A successful attempt might brighten the chances for a quick end to the Russian invasion.
