I was pulling for Erickson, but it’s fun to watch the celebration of the winner and his team no matter who wins.

Errickson deserved to lose after letting Palou take the lead. He is a bad driver.
Started going in 78 and only missed 3 until Covid hit. Before that I always watched with my dad and his uncle since I was a kid!
Or Palou is really good- he’s only lost one race this season; Long Beach....no one knew if Palou had enough fuel to finish the race....the two cars at the tail end of the lead lap helped sealed the deal for Palou....
The interesting thing now is whether or not Palou jumps to F1

Was Ericsson even close at the end before the caution and the flag?...radio said 2 car lengths...
he was right on Palou’s tail...there were two cars at the end of the lead lap right in front of Palou that made it impossible for Erickson to pass the last five laps
I had the TV on and IMS radio on my IPad- radio calls of the 500 are always incredible!!!

Considering the air temperature and the way the race started i was pleasantly surprised how few yellow flags there were the last 100 laps
I apologized upthread. Usually, I know better than to spout off about a subject I know nothing about.
BTW- that red flag at the very end was completely unecessary...the accident was on the other side of the track and they had a few hundred yards to the start/finish
