I saw a video of a Reagan joke this morning.
The Republican came to a midwestern town to give a stump speech.
The farmer said “hold on, let me get my wife. She’s never seen a republican before”. The farmer got his wife out to listen.
The Republican looked around for a stump to stand on, but couldn’t find anything. So he stood on a pile of manure and gave his speech.
After the speech the wife said “that was great, I never heard a republican give a speech before.”
The republican said “that makes two of us. I have never given a speech on a democrat’s platform before, either”.
