Sounds like the Dossena Deception was more like the Fasoli ****-Over. :^)
As an Art History major, Alceo Dossena and Han Van Meegeren are two of my favorite stories. As master forgers, they exposed who the real fraudsters were in the 20th century art world, and it wasn’t the artists.
